Alkaline diet is making more sense to me. I am currently flaring after enjoying three wonderful weeks vacationing near Hershey, PA. We went out to eat with our friends A LOT. One of the places we love to go specializes in Italian food and I ate more than my share. The garlic bread really did a number on me and I remember I had to take Pepto Bismal that evening. After that episode it was a downward spiral for me.
When home I usually make my own spaghetti sauce and add a bit of baking soda to reduce the acidity. Does this mean I will never be able to eat spaghetti sauce or pizza again?
