I woke up this morning and went to take my normal 4 morning pills. The bottles all look the same and I grabbed my amitripyline thinking it was my my effexor and I saw something dark in there so I dumped out the pills. Yeah that dark thing was a BUG (dead)!!!! It had to have been the most disgusting thing I've ever seen! I always keep my pill bottles closed and I have NO idea how it got in there. I'm still creeped about
it! yuck!

open and you were taking them?

Awful! I can't stand bugs. I would have thrown up probably. Did you throw the whole container away?

Ewww! I would call the pharmacy and ask for a new bottle. That's really gross if it was like that when you bought it. I'm sure the pills are okay though to take, but I really hate bugs so the gross factor would get to me.

It must have happened at home because I try and get most of my meds in three-month increments because its easier when I'm away at school and I've had the pills for a while...

I wonder how long it was dead...
I dunno, bugs don't phase me anymore, I'm that used to pulling ticks off myself after work.

I try not to I just think "down the hatch!" kind of like taking scope prep lol
Yeah I grew up going to the "cabin" (usual for a Minnesotan) every weekend and it was always ticky and buggy up there so I guess I'm used to it too lol
It was covered in pill dust so it must of been in there a while...

That is gross but when you think about
it you're actually ingesting lots of bug parts and other nasties from the foods you're eating...

The only thing worse than finding a worm in your apple is finding half a worm in your apple :)
And PB4 - I had heard of that before - things like pepper have a certain acceptable level of ickys like rat poop.

LOL....
Throw those pills out before you get sick! Bugs carry germs on their legs. generic elavil isn't that expensive and you don't want to get sick from the germies they carry on their bodies or the eggs they may have laid in your meds!
