Mine came back extremely positive for UC but scope biopsies have been far less definite, with cross-over signs like princesa reports. Though it doesn't have a big impact on what therapies to use, it could be very important to know for sure if it comes to surgery- if one knew it was probably Crohn's Colitis and not UC, then one would opt for a permanent ileo rather than a j-pouch, to preserve the maximum amount of small gut in case it later spreads. It seems the wonderful, wacky world of auto-immunity often only spreads crohn's colitis into the small gut when there is no more convenient target (ie colon) to attack- you gotta love this DD. Anyway, the Prometheus IBD-7 test seems to have an EXTREMELY bad reputation amongst GI docs. I was surprised my insurance covered most of it- they turned down payment for the Remicade antibody test , also by Prometheus, on account of the test being considered "experimental."
