Set an appt with anothe GI today

I had my monthly GI visit today and as soon as I walked out a called anothe GI who was referred to my by my sis in law (works in the Sugery Dept).  I set the appt a day before my next appt with my orginaly GI. 

Ive been having a lot of issues with my originaly GI in that he isnt open minded and very short fused...my appoitments are usually only 15 minutes and the residence doctor is usually in there most of the time.  I think it would be good to get a 2nd oppinion, espcially because i think I'm gonna have to get on Remicade pretty soon.

I often wonder why some doctors choose to be doctors. I always say that if you're not happy with your doctor then by all means change to one you like. So hopefully this new GI will be the one you are looking for. Good luck!

I think a lot of us here have been through more than one GI. I fired my first one when he had me on Colazal, Azathioprine and Entocort and I wasn't getting any better. He showed no interest in trying anything else, and I started to feel like he thought I was making it up.
