I'm new here but have a lot of empathy about the different preps. All the liquid preps gave me nausea and vomiting. My doctor gave me OsmoPrep Tablets. You have to take 32 tablets (not all at once) but you can take them with water, ginger ale, gatorade. You still need to drink quite a bit of liquid for the flushing out process, but at least it's not a salty liquid. Some people don't care for them because they have difficulty swallowing pills, but I much prefer them to any of the liquid solutions. You still need the enemas.
Current meds: Azasan 150mg, Asacol 2400 mg, Tincture of Opium
The best med I have ever used for chronic bleeding of 5 years was Budesonide (short chain fatty acid enema). It was difficult to find (has to be prepared by appointment and not every pharmacy has the ingredients or expertise), very expensive, not fun to administer, but it stopped my bleeding in one month, I tapered for two months and I haven't had a recurrence of bleeding for a year and a half.
