Hi everyone just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Thordis and I am from Iceland I have been sick since October 2008, for dx with UC then with CD and now back to UC.
I have been taking remicade for 6 months and it is not working any miracles for me but it helps a little.

Now my liver enzymes are acting up and I had a liver biopsy today and get the results next week.

So I am moving from the CD forum to you guys ;)

In a way it must be a relief to finally know what you're dealing with, and hope you're better soon.

hehe thanks It is a little relief to just have UC but I feel a little lost with all the diffrent Dx :S

So hopefully I can just stick to UC.

Or better yet maybe it was all just a big joke from the docs and I am not sick at all, You can always dream right :P

Welcome to the Uc board Thordis :) I'm STILL waiting for the docs to say it was all a joke and I don't have Uc either but I am not holding my breath! :)

I know just how you feel...I've been "indeterminate" since I was first diagnosed. Now they're saying Chrons, but its much easier to say UC, so I'm sticking with it...

It feels a little strange to not be sure what your Dx is but I suppose it does not matter if I feel good
