Drop Foot and UC

The last flare I had was in November and I developed drop foot in my right foot shortly after or towards the end of the flare.  about a month ago another flare came on and I'm experienceing the same condition in my left foot.  Could there be any coralation between my UC and the Drop Foot?  Has anyone else experienced this condition?

Do you have any kind of low back problem? Or do you have "arthritis" flares with your UC flares?

If I had to guess, I would think that the drop would be not from the UC itself, but from some added inflammation elsewhere in your body like in your back.

PS are you going to physical therapy for the drop foot?

I was going to ask the Same question as Jen...

Drop foot is nerve transmission related I believe....??

Have you seen a neurologist regarding this condition?

Could also be imuran related?

Last time I had drop foot I went to my primary care physician. I did end up going to physical therapy and I also saw an acupuncturist who specializes in eastern medicine. This time the drop foot isn't as bad and I'm using the excercises I learned last time around. I was having some lower back aches a while back. too much time hunched over the computer I think. I seem to be through that at this point.
