I read former posts where some people benefit from these meds. Since I always had a "spastic colon" even before being diagnosed with UC, I finally mentioned it to my GI. He prescribed Hyomax-SL 0.125 mg sub tablets. You can dissolve them under the tongue. Anyone else have results with this? The mfg is Aristos. It may be listed under other names. Not up on these at all.

never tried that one...I use dicyclomine (Bentylol/Bentyl).

It didn't do anything for me when I was flaring. (But it was a baaaaaad flare). I haven't tried it since then. It may work better for less major stomach upsets??
