Just had colon removed 6 days ago, ask me anything!

I dont know what area of the country you are in, my surgeon was Dr. Rosen, he was very nice and talked to me for a really long time on my inital consult.
Everyone said he was really good about telling them what happened after surgery and all,but obvisouly i dont remember that, i dont remeber much of the first two days (morphine is my friend, lol)

ok ijust watched that and that guy made that way tooo complicated!

But its basically how it works, although his is up higher than mine.

I have to agree with Summerstorm, it's really not that complicated to empty it. No need for endless wads of toilet paper, just a couple of wipes with toilet paper (2 lots of 2 sheets for me) over the end of the bag to clean it up, do the bag up and you're good to go (plus my hands don't get dirty) :)

I don't go through he does when changing either. I just use an Eakin Seal and my one piece appliance. None of that other stuff. To me, less is more. The less stuff I use, the less chance of being allergic, etc to what I'm using. I can change in 3 minutes :)
