Hey all, original poster here.
-summerstorm- I totally understand where you're coming from. Quality of life can mean so many different things to different people. I have just learned quite a bit from this one post. I have never approached my disease with a diet, it's always been medicine. I would like to believe that with care, I can have energy and be in remission. If in time though, I found myself to be missing half the things a normal person enjoys, I would seriously consider surgery if it promised me more life enjoyment.
-Peety- With accutane wiping out all bacteria, would you say it's causing the ibd, or setting forth a disease that was lurking in the shadows already? I know it does little use to worry about it now, but understanding this might help my peace of mind somewhat. I plan on asking my doctor about it next week.
Thanks to all the posted!
