Digestacure

Hi. 

I have been suffering with ulcerative colitis for 5 years now and have been on various medications from asacol, prednisone, cipro, remicade, and have been experiencing symptoms which I believe are side effects of the mesalamine in the asacol. My doctors found liver abnormalities and inflamed stomach which is side effects of the drugs. I now am told to continue taking them. I believe I am in a vicious cycle of medications exacerbating my disease because tests show I have only minimal colitis. The symptoms are not minimal though. I was hospitalized for a week. I am considering natural aloe cures. I have hope but cannot pursue this because my hope is denied by my support staff. I am allergic to sulfa drugs as well; Mesalamine could be worsening my symptoms because I believe sulfa is in this medication.

 

Has anyone heard of digestacure as a natural remedy?  I was told that would prevent all of these symptoms and get me off the medications.

Yeah I think only sulfasalzine has it sulfa in it, the others are just 5-ASA drugs. 5-ASA just may not work for you period or could even be making you worse, most doctors won't admit it though. Asacol and Colazal made me worse not better for some reason. I end up using a very low dosage of sulfasalazine and suppliments like vitD. Not sure what does and doesn't work but you definitely need something different.
