My anus feeling like burning

hi my anus is feeling like burning why it is happing to me ? is it some kind of fungal infection there in my anus ? i read that fungal infection should be anywhere in your body????plz give some advice

The burning feeling is the Uc being Uc. It starts at the rectum and moves upward. If you are flaring this can account for the burning. Also if you have any hemmeroids or a fissure this can cause burning as well. Have ever tried rectal meds?

Ask your doctor to give you local anesthetic, it could help. As Red_34 mentioned, it could be due to UC.

Sometimes if you have diarrhea or need to go to the toilet often, the continuous passing of stools and wiping with toilet paper can irritate that area. Using some cortisone cream or other such products can help a lot.

Try using calmoseptine ointment. You can order it online at www.calmoseptineointment.com or at Amazon. It's also sold in drug stores that sell ostomy supplies.

If it feels like its external it definitely could be from going so often. I found that after a particularly bad episode of D my butt would burn and it would hurt to walk. When that happens I try and wipe with wetted, as I call them, butt wipes. Cottonelle sells some that I like.

Even if you don't have hemmeroids, the Tucks medicated pads do wonders for a sore tush :) I had to use this with my last colonoscopy prep and it was a life saver.

yes but burning feeling is not to much i just feel it when i come back from bathroom and it is external

In that case, it just sounds like your skin is getting a bit raw from all that pooping and all that wiping. It's probably a lot like diaper rash, really.

yes i am from pk salazopyrin (sulfasalazine)
this is a old drug of UC

considering you're flaring and in the bathroom multiple times, you should ask the doc for rectal meds.

You could also try Canesten yeast cream....or a diaper cream which sometimes has an antifungal in it.

Raw anus from wiping and multiple bms is very painful. The wipes for that could help.

I also agree with the Tucks pads...those things are awesome. Also aquaphore is great as well. It's in the baby section of most stores.

Also check to make sure you dont have a fungal issue which can develop if the area gets/stays moist form sweating etc...if you do then an over the counter fungal cream should clear it up in a few days then make sure to keep the area dry and powdered.
