For the past 3 years I have been experiencing a pain that seems to start in my right pelvic/groin area. My right buttock is very achey the ache frequently tends to radiate down my right thigh. This ache is severe enough to keep my awake at night. It also tends to ache more when I’m sitting for long periods of time. I have a rectocele and have many small BMs during the day and a lot of gas. I fasted for a day to try to clean out my system to see if it would help. The ache got less severe, but I still had the pain in my groin/pelvis area. I have had an ultrasound, MRI, colonoscopy all with normal results.
Are there any blood tests or any other tests that I can have that might help narrow down my problem? Should I go back to the gastro doctor? Should I go to the surgeon for an exploratory laproscopy? Would a femoral hernia cause these types of symptoms? I eat well, but do not exercize much. Lately I have been slowly losing weight. I weigh about 112 right now.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm starting to panic about all this.
