Cipro prescription!

Hi All,

I'd posted this before the forums went down but I don't see it now so...here it is again.

I'd forgotten the GI had given me a prescription for Cipro. I was to start taking the Asacol for a couple weeks then start the Cipro (in case one made me nauseous, we'd know which). So I started the Asacol and then was so busy doing the other tests and Upper GIs and Prometheus that I forgot to get the Cipro filled.

But...bottom line, I'm kinda scared to take it. I see where lots of people flare after taking antibiotics, plus I have been def. dx with UC now. I see that people with Chron's take antibiotics sometimes but not UC.

Any thoughts?

I guess with some people it works? callalily was talking about Cipro, and I think it was fruitgirl who said it works for some people... I'd take a probiotic with it (at different times of day).
