Hi All

So im on the on Prednisalon pills, currently on 10mg tapered from 40, i was well spaced out on the pills at first but started seeing positive results after 2 weeks, now into week 7 im seeing more mucus, i go to the loo in the morning when i wake up and the first thing that comes is mucus then the bm ... I have about 2 - 3 bms in the space of an hour and my rectum is again sore :( - but thats all i have im free from the loo all day.

I have a bit of a coldy migrane achy flu like thing at the moment, im wondering if its not helping ???

Do you think that now im almost off the pred Im going to get worse again ! >>???? I feel so naff that im worried its going to all come back to get me!

Ness, At lower doses of prednisone symptoms can come back. That's why it's a good idea to taper at a slower pace at low doses so that your body adjusts to it gradually.

Also, if you notice symptoms getting worse over several days then you should probably give your doctor a call. Sometimes when symptoms return you can bump back up to a higher dose, get things back under control again, and then continue tapering -- so if need be, you could discuss that as an option with your doctor.
