well 4 days after 1st infusion and still doing well. Did not have to use the bathroom 1 time during the night last night. woke up at 4 am needing to pee and tried to have bm and nothing came out. Still not formed on my stools, but last weeks colonoscopy showed very severe inflamation throughout entire colon, so i know the healing will take a little time. I look forward to that first formed stool which i think is just around the corner. I feel so good now. Still regaining strength and endurance as my blood counts rise, up to 10.5 and after nearly a year of very little activity, i need to start exercising. Very optimistic.

Great! Glad it seems to be your "miracle drug."

Great news lucas!!! I pray you will continue to improve. I'm hangin in there. The prednisone seems to lessen the pressure in my rectum. I see my GI doctor tomorrow to discuss Remicade. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy on the 17th but he wanted me off prednisone before he does it. I have no idea why. I had to start the prednisone on Friday, 30 mgm. If I hadn't I was sure I would be in the hospital today.
