well i have my 1st colonoscopie since ive been diagnosed in 2007 tomorow at 12:45. ive been in remission for a couple of months now so im pretty sure its gonna be good news. i got up this morning at 7am. first my dose of picco salax. i was so scared of getting nausous but i didnt. they said it starts working in between 1 and 4 hours. lol after 45 min i had already gone to the bathroom once lol. so now im gonna be sitting at home watching movies and not doing much for the rest of the day!!!! has anyone else ever tried picco salax???

I'm not sure if I've taken picco sax but I've taken citramag in the UK, and it clears you up really good. I think it started working for me within an hour of taking it. It can give you some burning at the other end because things are passing through you so quickly so could be useful to use some petroleum jelly or something to protect that area.

Never tried that prep but I have did Phos-Phosoda, Osmoprep, and *can't remember the last one* but I do know one thing...no matter the prep, they are still horrible!! :) Good luck with the prep and the scope. Let us know the what the outcome is - the scope, not the prep! LOL

I had picolax I felt like I'd had a full dep clean by the end of it, and a phuzz said start slapping the nappy ream on nice and early, I felt like I was on fire after the 10th visit to the loo!

yeah it already feels like its on fire. its weird though when i took the pico salax this morning it worked really fast and i was going to the loo every 45 min. now it has slowed down feels almost like im empty. i have to take my second dose at 5 so i guess we will see. but i like this stuff i dont even feel nausous or have bad cramps.
