     As you probably all know, I am having my first Remicade treatment tomorrow.  I am having extreme urgency problems but all that comes out is thick gooey light brown gunk with blood.  Anyone else ever have this?  I don't ever remember being this bad.  Hope it isn't cancer.  Had a sigmoidoscope with biopsies in June...didn't show any cancer then.

Unfortunately, I have experienced the same thing during really long flares lasting a couple of months. It stops when I start going into remission. I hope you feel better soon.

That would be mucous, common with IBD and IBS as well...hope remicade takes you to remission and quickly, good luck!

Yes, I've had that....and it would be mucus with stoolish stuff.

yep. same here.
i get same thing. very mucousy poos (if you can even call them poos)
i think it is pretty common thing

Yup, I've had that too. I agree with everyone else.

Good luck with your Remicade! It was a miracle for me--got me out of my first flare. (Took almost a month to work, though!....that's highly unusual.)

Same here.. I guess it is pretty common!

Anyhoo, good luck with Remicade tomorrow.. it literally worked for me overnight.. I had no ill effects from the transfusion except for feeling pretty tired and fatigued for a couple of days afterwards. I also got a SLIGHT headache but was able to knock it out with tylenol...

Please let us know how it goes!!!

I've seen some truly terrible things come out of me. It's almost always some kind of mucus.

Yes, I had this also. Just basically "goo" and blood mixed together. My urgency was also very bad along with control.  I had my first Remicade treatment on Thursday Nove 6th and have not seen blood since. Having my second tomorrow and am hoping the improvement continues.

     Whew, thank you friends!  I just told my hubby, I don't know what I would do without my online healingwell.com forum friends!  What a Godsend!  Hubby tries so hard to understand, but unless you actually go through this, it is hard to realize the toll it takes on a person.

     Well, headed to the Surgical Center for the Remicade.....feeling very optomistic about it too!!!!  Got my snacks, water, book...I'ma ready gang smilewinkgrin
