Has anyone used hydrogen peroxide?

Hi All-
I am new to this. My 13 year old was diagnosed when she was 12 with UC. She has tried asacol but lost a lot of hair. She had a bad flair up in Sept/Oct after being on dipentum and is now on dipentum and prednisone (with the highest dose being 60 mg). She is tapering 5 mg every 5 days. The Ped GI is already wanting to put her on a 6mp if she relapses. Last time she relapsed when she got down to 10 mg per day of prednisone.
Has anyone tried food grade hydrogen peroxide and olive leaf extract? My husband wants to start her with it but I am afraid of mixing with the prednisone and dipentum.

Hi..she should be on rectal meds as well....

hydrogen peroxide....not a good idea to take it internally and the colon is a place where the sun doesn't shine, per se....it doesn't require oxygen from external sources...

I agree with quincy.
I don't see any reason to take hydrogen peroxide

I've used ozone therapy a few different ways. Got nothing but a buzz off it. Used MMS before... made me sick 4 days in. Both oxidizers. With H202 I would have to do alot of research before giving it to my child first. Can be dangerous. I could never recommend something I haven't tried first.
