My first Remicade infusion story.

As some know i started remi 2 weeks ago, just had my second infusion today.  I have done well with it, Pretty much in remission now. But anyway, 2 weeks ago, as many are, I was a little unsure as to whether I should start the medicine or not, so I was praying very hard for God's direction as to whether to start remi or not.  I woke up very early that morning, like 5 am and I was praying and asking God whether I should do it or not, No, He did not speak to me in an audible voice, but I got out my devotion for that day and read it at 5:30 am and the name of the devotion was "Just Do It".  It talked about how sometimes when We don't know what to do or if we are asking God to give us wisdom, sometimes we just have to step out in faith and do what we think is right.  I felt like Aha!, That is what I have to do then.  So anyway, I went to my church as they have early morning prayer on thursday mornings at 6 am, and I prayed and my pastor prayed with me.  I felt really good and had no anxiety about it, so i went to the doc's office at 8am for the 1st infusion.  The nurse was getting everything ready.  I had only met her once for about 5 minutes one day when i was deciding whether on not to take it.  But anyway, she was going in and coming out of the room and then she walked into the room with tears in her eyes and said "CAn we pray before we start"  which was neat because she did not know me from Adam, but God's presence was just so strong in the room.  We prayed together and I was able to share with her how God had used this disease to do a lot of positive things in my life.  I don't understand everything for sure, but it was neat how God really orchestrated everything and has even used this situation for so much good.  The Dr. today said there was no way I could have felt better in only one day after the initial infusion as it looked like a grenade had gone off in my Colon, but when he saw i had put on 14 lbs in the last 2 weeks, he kinda believed me then.  One lesson I have learned is look for God in every situation and you can find Him.
