Been on one of those for a few weeks... looks like tonights another one, lol.

Yeah, lol. I added in 9 colazal and the lialda today.... just too much. On top of the rectal meds already using and 4 lomitil.

Yes, all three. Started back after my last goli injection that gave me that huge bruise that I still have remnants of. Swear I am scarred. Rectals almost 4 weeks now. Tonight would be a lost cause on trying one of those. Lialda 4, but I just pulled them out today with the colazal. They usually make me worse... which I think they did, but I need to hit my upper colon with something. Oh and pred, lol. Can't forget the crazy drug. Just waiting it out.... Think the fecal enemas started the real big D, and just never recovered from it 2 weeks ago. My flares always keep me up all night, usually few weeks with this type of stuff.

Dr. A....you did the poo enemas 2 weeks ago?

Maybe it's the Colazal that's causing some of the diarrhea? It seems to do that with some others.

OK, I'll ask...are you on probiotics and fibre supplements?

Wow dr-a. 10x is tough. I feel your pain and I am sorry you're not feeling well. I remember when I would spend half the night in the bathroom, not fun. I hope the Lialda helps you and quickly. One of the worst parts of flaring for me was the lack of sleep. That and the fact that I was scared of leaving the house because I never knew when something would happen.

If you review everything you have tried and have left no stone unturned ( be certain ) perhaps its time for the fecal transplant. I wont do enemas if we are going there to treat it then lets just jump ahead to the final solution.

Already tried all that stuff. Don't ever try MSM, btw. I try everything, and some stuff I won't even post here, lol. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you do. Just keep sticking the enemas up there, and add in some of the E. Nothing really wanting to stay in this morning. If I get one of those in it will ease up. Just need to hang on for several more weeks until I get the big guns out against it.

Feeling your pain. Argh. we think we're dealing ok, and suddenly..... the bathroom is our most frequented room. It is SO frustrating.

Hahaha at a poopathon fund raiser--will we be paid by the pound for our output? I remember when I was in my first flare and my GI was trying to diagnose me, he had me do a 24-hour stool collection to see just how much I was going. My "output" was like 4x higher than the high end of normal or something crazy like that.

Dr-A, hope you get to feeling better soon. I know in women's health, HRT is hormone replacement therapy.

poopathons deff a good word for it.. in my flairs im up to 38-40 times a day.... all through the night no sleep.. no fun deff haha.. gotta have some humor though to get through this condition!
