Yes, Quincy, I know .... and it could have been blood - I either have some inflammation in the very bottom or internal hemmies, because I've seen a a little blood on the TP every few weeks, and maybe the D irritated it....
But, having not seen blood in a few weeks, .... it was just such an odd color red, very light and bright but with a slightly less orange/red to the color.
The red appeared about the 4th bout of diahrrea, so although the diahrrea started 2 hours after, the one episode with the lovely red was likely 5 hours after the meal.
In any case, haven't seen it since.
What really distressed me (which I'd put in my first post but not this one) was that the inside of my mouth immediately became very inflamed, swollen, covered with sores and hurt, both the roof and the tongue, burned - and even hours later the roof of my mouth felt, "tasted" as if I'd burned it. Horribly unpleasant.
This was the primary reaction, the scariest, and the most unusual - I'd never had anything like this happen before, though for the past 3 or 4 years my tongue has reacted to acidic salad dressings - but not to this dramatic extent.
In any case, whew! - I've recovered, the rest of the offending food went out in the garbage! (I kept it a few days in case further symptoms appeared.)
