Hey guys,

just an update..I was thrown into a flare after getting the swine flu shot, and am now feeling a bit better, almost a month later. I was just wondering though, if anyone here knows a good naturopath they could recommend in the philadelphia area?  Or maybe one I could even consult over the phone?

I don't have an answer to your quesiton but I have one for you.  Do you really believe it was the swine flu shot that made you flare?  I am wondering about getting one.  Thanks.

My son had one with no issues (he is in remission currently.)

Im sure thats what it was , because I was doind really well, no flare ups whatsoever for about a year, and as soon as i got the shot, i started to flare really bad. Thats the only change I can think of.  I guess everybody reacts to it differently....

It will up your immune system a bit, but remember that many of us do have inflammation with no obvious symptoms. The flu shot could have just pushed into a higher gear.

If you're not on any meds, I wouldn't only claim it to be the shot. We all flare.

I had both the seasonal shot and a month later the H1N1. No butt issues....but I'm on maintenance meds.

Thanks for nothing LOL!  I am in about 90% remission - not using medication and feeling pretty good - soooo, do I or don't I?  I am older and have read where I have some immunity to the swine flu since I lived in the 50's and had the Asian flu in 1957.  I will ask my new primary care doc his opinion tomorrow.
