I agree with Sue- the less info the better. It's funny though, becasue a woman I work with was just in the hospital for a week, after getting an abdominal ultrasound done. Now, she's been on a low-residue diet since then. And all she'll say is "Oh, I have stomach issues". Now me, I KNOW a low-residue diet is not prescribed for "stomach issues", but far be it from me to burst her bubble! Although she's a major pain in the you-know-what, so I'd sort of love to say "Oh right, you mean intestinal issues?" and call ehr out on it. I guess my point is- no one's going to ask anything, if they even notice. I think we fear people notice everything about
ourselves, when in reality, no one will probably care that you're not eating your meal!
