Hi everyone :)
I had my spinal tap this morning and it was absolutely Painless! I can't believe how good a job the Neuro did.. She was very nice this time and even said I was one of her best patients she's had for this test.. I've been on the couch all day, and hoping I don't get the spinal headache that you can get from one of these tests. It will be 3 weeks until I find out the results, but in the meantime, I'm doing OK U/C wise still... but have had some pain on the right side of abdomen. My GI called today and said to just monitor and if it get's worse or I start feeling sicker, to go to the ER as it could be appendicitis. Also he said to double my dose of Culturelle as it is a good probiotic and that due to the PRed I could have an imbalance of bacteria in my colon and if that's the case the Culturelle should straighten that out.
ALso I took my last dose of Pred today!!! WOO HOO!!! Finally off that stuff after almost 7 months!!!!

Spinal tap always sounds scary, so it's good to hear it didn't hurt! Glad she treated you better this time around too.

So glad it went well...spinal taps, epidurals etc can be real problems sometimes. Hope it comes back as good news. Where did you get the test done?

I'm glad it went well and that the doc was nicer this time. Perhaps you all just got started on the wrong foot. If she is supposed to be a good doc, I'd stick with her if things improve.
Glad you are doing well UC wise too.

Wow, 3 weeks huh? Too bad you can't get results sooner because I know if it was me, the wait would kill me! I'm glad though that it was painless for you.
