lots of blood and sometimes seconds to make it to the toilet...any luck with 6mp?

soo confused...just saw the dr and have a colonscopy...dr said my blood work isnt bad and colonscopy only shows mild left sided mostly towards the rectum...but lately i have gas and mostly blood like 4-5 times a day and sometimes i only have 10-20 seconds to make it to the bathroom...currently taking cort steriod enemas and balsazide dissudium 3 pills 3 times a day...and she wants to start me on 6mp 50mg...anyone have any luck with this or similiar symptoms...i typically dont go alot just have alot of blood...

     Yes, I always had urgency problems.  That is the reason I had three porta pots in different rooms of the house.  We only had one bathroom, two now that our daughter's addition is finished.  Your symptoms sound exactly like the ones I had.  The 6MP worked for two years after I first started but then stopped working and I became prednisone dependent for the last eighteen months.  Now on Remicade.  At the moment I am battling some kind of virus.  Not sure whether this is Remicade after effects or what.  Sure hope not!
