EEhhhhh... not so great, actually. I did my last 2 loading doses this past Thursday. Am scheduled to go to one shot biweekly from this point on- I have a script for 3 months worth of pens. So it's the same old, same old- I have good days & bad, bad being 6-8 bm's/day with extreme urgency, occasional accident. Good days being 2-4 bm's all within the first 2 hours of waking up, also with urgency. I'm pretty disgusted- I was telling my husband the other night I have a feeling I won't be making it thru 2010 with my body intact, & that actually, it's sort of a relief. I have heard the talk about Humira taking a month or so to kick in. But, with Remicade helping so intensely & so immediately when I first started it.... the Humira is nothing like that. Currently, I may as well not be on it at all for all the good I've noticed. The day after a shot I won't go to the bathroom at all, then the next day it's back to business as usual. I'll give it the full 3 months & assess things then. Although I did just pick up a giant bottle of liquid Immodium today while grocery shopping- have been hanging around the Crohns forum lately & lots of people on there use it DAILY--- !!! Not that I plan too, but it may be my year for Immodium! Hey, thanks for asking, btw! I'm just so annoyed- for years my UC was no trouble at all, then it just went haywire in 2007 & it hasn't been in control since then, despite the meds or any other changes I've implemented. What the hell?????

I totally understand about the urgency- that's my biggest daily issue, the only one really, that impacts my quality of life. Leads to accidents, etc. A little blood daily, but that doesn't faze me. Today was an alright day- it's like 1 on, 1 off.... I've been static for so long now, not getting better or worse, that I can live with things the way they are. I was just hoping the Humira would hit me really good initially. Plus, we (my GI & I) don't really know if the tnf blockers are doing anything- are they helping slightly, or am I at a standstill??? I'm loathe to quit them entirely, but.... I may inquire about getting another scope done to check how things look. Although I really don't want to know.

You know, it's funny- since I wrote that reply I've had nothing but a stretch of great days. Sure, morning urgency, but I get up, run back & forth to the bathroom for a couple hours, then I'm done for the day. And I've been eating ALL sorts of stuff, ranging from candied nuts to chicken to frozen yogurt. So not sure if the Humira is kicking in, slower than the Remicade did, or if it's just luck. I swear, I have Indecisive Bowel Disease, no Inflammatory here....
