Basically you have to find out on your own what you can and can't eat. I personally would stay away from fruit juice because of its high sugar and acid content just a bad combo for your gut. Orange Juice might be ok though, but not grape and apple at least for me.
Back off on sugar and too much carbs, substitute rice more often instead. Red meat, not fried, but baked or roasted is the best aids in healing. Salmon is good one to eat. Home made chicken soup, not the canned junk. Stay away from MSG and nitrates. Canned Spinach for some reason has some magic like benefits to lot of people who tried it along with sunflower seeds. I think it is the spinach mainly that helps.
vitamin D 4000 to 5000 units a day is a good idea. Jarrows Whey protien poweder and eggs have for glutamine and amino acids to help with healing.
Watch the prescript
ion drugs like Asacol and Colazal for example as it can make you worse instead of better. I personally only take low dosages of Sulfasalazine 1/2 pill 3 times a day at most.
Just some random suggestions of things I think helped me, and it doesn't hurt to pray either.
I now eat pretty close to normal again, but always keep up my supplements and spinach or carrot juice. Not sure what helped the most or if it was a random recovery, but it seem to be a slow process of healing over months and months.
I also take probiotics natures way Primadophilis Ruteri or however it is spelled.
