Well, this was the third time I tried in maybe a month. First time I ate 1/2 - not too bad, but last two times whole small one and always very ripe (I like them best). I did not get cramps or D - just stomach pains as they moved through I guess.
As for salmon - my favorite food to eat out. I got really sick about two years ago and thought it was "bad" salmon or something so I ate some canned last year and got the same (nausea, cramping, etc.) So, I tried one more time at home and it was not as bad but I don't think I need to try it again! I am often one of those "rare" cases that doctors and others talk about. DARN! Sticking with my peanut butter, cheese, white bread, small portions of beef, chicken, canned fruit, soft carrots/green beans/tomato sauce. AND any dessert like cake/ice cream/cookies in moderation, of course, and I am obese!
