I am not sure. I am back on pred, using the Rowasa at night and supposed to use the Canasa in the AM, but can't keep it in very long because morning is a very active time for my bowels.
Anyway-since I have started using the enemas, I am having an increasingly hard time retaining them through the night, and when I get up in the morning, I am in terrible pain with several episodes of bloody D.
Later in the day, like towards the afternoon, my movements harden up-not hard, but softly formed (still bloody, but not like in the AM). They usually stay this way until bedtime. (I still have the pain, urgency and severe nausea with BMs, not matter what time of day, unfortunately. Right now I am at about 6-8 BMs a day, all bloody, and all D in the AM.)
So could it just be the time of day? Mornings are always hardest on me during even minor flares. Or could the Rowasa be making matters worse? It is so hard to tell...but my mornings are awful!
