UC, Remicade and your nails

I have been getting my nails done every 5 or 6 weeks for many, many years.  In the last 3 times, I have noticed that my nails seem very thin - (thinner than normal)  and overly sensitive when the technician is filing them.  I have pink and whites.  Has anyone else who is on Remicade noticed that your nails hurt when you get them done?  Any suggestions?

     Take calcium tablets.  My nails have never been healthier.  I've been on prednisone a lot and it gave me osteoporosis.  I cannot tolerate Fosamax or Actonel, they both give me terrible heartburn.  I don't need ulcers in my esophagus right now.  So I take two calcium with D tablets daily.  Heck, if it is doing such a fine job on my nails, its gotta be helping my bones .
