Hi....well, I eat pretty much what I want, but that doesn't mean I eat everything or what others eat. I also only have 2 main meals a day because I'm not working a full time schedule as I did years ago. Then, I had the same breakfast except NO coffee. I had salad with chicken, spaghetti, soup, lasagna or whatever for lunch. No dessert, no coffee. Only water.
For Supper I had whatever from chicken, fish, hamburger, salads, lasagna, dessert, coffee. I ate out at least twice a week or more for supper depending on what I was doing.
but now.....For breakfast I have a boiled egg, toast with marmalade and coffee....2 - 4 cups with 1% milk. I take 6 Metamucil capsules then after about an hour I take all my meds and vitamins.
For supper I have maybe chicken, salad, spaghetti, pizza, lasagna, perogies, teriyaki chicken, indonesian chicken, rice...veggies such as broccoli (give me gas), carrots, sweet potatoes, asparagas, mixed veggies...etc.
I have something sweet for dessert, maybe some vanilla yogurt with animal crackers or some chocolate...lol. I've found Activia yogurt isn't too bad as long as I don't have too much. Oh, and a cup or so of coffee. If I go out, I'll have salmon with veggies and a carb or a hamburger or something like that.
I take 6 Metamucil caps.
For a snack I might have some tapinade with Kashi crackers, some salsa & low salt corn chips....or just a piece of toast.
Around 11 I take my vitamins and meds.....about 2 hours later I take the probiotics.
The liver disease I have could be one, the other or both of primary sclerosing cholangitis and Primary Billiary Chirrosis. My blood tests lead to PBC, but the visual from the MRI says PSC.
I take URSO which is a bile acid to help keep the bile flowing because of the constrictions. I'm in early stages.
It was suspect about 13 years ago that I had it but I refused the ERCP test to confirm. I waited will an MRI test became available, and it was confirmed.
I'm not having any symptoms and the liver enzymes are back to normal. My cholesterol is high, but that's related to the liver disase.....or at least most of it is.
Hope this helps.
