VSL and Remission

I'm debating whether to jack up my VSL dose to four packs as assistance in getting rid of this flare.

Anybody had any success with high doses of VSL bringing them into remission?

It has not been helping me. I am not doing terribly but I attribute my lessened symptoms to prednisone use, not VSL3.

It seems that in a flare 1 packet is just tears in the rain. I try to go to 4 if I can remember that many times in a day. If that does not reverse the trend in a couple days and it usually does - I hop on prednisone and taper off as soon as the doctor says I can.

What do you mean "reverse the trend" -- improve things?

Also, how long do you stay on four if it's reversing a trend
