I just realized I have been mixing my vsl with the little applesauce containers that have added calcium supplement. It containts 125mg of calcium per container.

It clearly states to eat a few hours after or before other meds.

So now im wondering if mixing the vsl with this is not a good idea? is the calcium inhibiting the vsl from working now? or does this statement relate to other medications?

Krissy, what, the applesauce/calcium says to have it a few hours before/after?

To my knowledge the VSL timing doesn't matter much (didn't someone contact the company last week and they said they were doing trials to see if there was any difference when people took it?)

So I would think the worst thing that would happen would be you wouldn't get benefit from that little bit of calcium.

it says to eat it a few hours apart from meds..but i did some research and there are only some meds that calcium affects..not ALL..I guess maybe they just dont want to go into detail about which meds and why..,after all they only have so much room on a tiny label!
