Sounds like you may be a bit stressed with the wedding coming up and that is all the proctitis needs. I know, I have the same thing....stress me just a tad and that proctitis becomes a demon.
Try cutting out the soymilk. I used to take soy (Silk) in my cereal every morning. I think it began to have a negative effect on me, so I switched to lactaid. If you are having loose bowels, cut out the fish oil. Try flaxseed capsules. I never tried the psyllium but my doctor prescribed Cholestyramine. It is a packet that I mix with a glass of orange juice to bulk up the stool. It is somewhat gritty, so mix it well. It doesn't taste bad at all mixed with the oj.
I've been in an almost constant flare since May of 08. Right now on Colazal (been on it for years), 40 mgm of prednisone (dependent by now) and since Remicade failed after the 3rd infusion, I started Humira last Wednesday, seeing no improvement yet.
Just hanging in there and most likely am looking at surgery in the near future but dread it.
