Yikes! Cipro Set back!

So, I was improving... with the exception of a right sided pain that was getting worse. My doctor thought maybe something had camped out in my right sided colon and decided to try a round of Cipro to see if we could kick it out. Well, after 4 days on Cipro all I can say is yikes, and NO WAY NO HOW UH UH! I feel like I've back tracked 2 weeks on recovery! I guess I was a fool to agree to antibiotics w/o some kind of something other than shot in the dark.

We bumped the Imuran up to 100MG Thursday. So, I guess my best bet is to stay on the pred, hope the Imuran kicks in or, ask to bump the Imuran to whatever he is thinking my therapeutic dose will be NOW and hope it kicks in. I'll probably also ask for a scan of that right side.

Should I also ask to go back on 5ASA's now, too?

I am willing to try Remicade, I'm just hesitant to jump on that when I know the Imuran hasn't really had a chance to work yet. Although, I am really tired of suffering...

I guess I just needed to vent. Tired of being sick! :o(

I didn't take my Cipro dose last night and this morning I am feeling better. That right sided pain I was complaining about before is still there but darn I feel eleventy billion times better than I did yesterday morning. I hope my doctor doesn't get too annoyed with me but sometimes we just have to listen to our bodies, right?
