Which type works best for you?

From your experience which is the most effective: foam enema, liquid enema, or suppositories? I am doing the foam and it isn't really helping that much with the bleeding...

Maybe you could ask the doc to put you on an oral 5ASA and try the Rowasa enemas.

the Rowasa enemas have kept my lower part of my colon in mild inflamation per my scope yesterday

I've only used the Rowasa but I've not seen blood in months. But I use them very consistently, I think that's the key with them. I also lay on my left side for at least 30 mins.

yeah, I believe a minimum of 20-30 minutes on your left side is definitely important

Cortifoam and Anusol work for me but my UC is basicly in the rectum only - little inflammation left-side!

I could not tolerate mesalamine enemas. UC under control with prednisone and then rectal meds - three times a day and now as needed.
