I don't think many UCers need to worry about not having enough look-see tests...
unless doctors don't do biopsies etc.

Good for people who don't realise, however.

You should probably change your statement somewhat..sarcastic or not....a tad offensive since many on here are from the UK.

I think the point of it is that it's another screening tool...better than nothing.

Regarding dying from UC....related complications, cancer included. That's like peeling an onion.

When I read that story earlier I thought there were some ludicrous comments made by people. It may be a handy tool for the quick screening. But I got the impression it was not really made to "go up and around" if you know what I mean. Or pull polyps or take biopsies.

I'm confused. The article says colon cancer causes 1 million cases and 600,000 deaths worldwide every year, not UC.

I just thought the article was interesting. No decision as to how I feel about what it says. That's why I posted it.

Oh. I didn't think that. I'm on lexapro; so nothing seems to phase me much. I think lexapro makes a great truth serum. I talk and talk and talk not realizing that some people may be put off by what I say.
