I am wondering whether there are certain symtpoms in relation to where the inflammation is. If I list the usual sytmpoms I come up with:
1. frequency
2. urgency
3. consistancy- diareah or firm
4. constipation
5. abdominal pain
6. rectal pain
7. bleeding
8. shape of stool-- thin, ribbon-like, normal, thick
Although I am said to be in remission with no active uc I still have thin stools that are urgent sometimes. I am wondering if this is normal or if there is some part of the colon that is being stubborn and not healed.
Also, what does it mean when they said no active uc? does that mean there is no inflammation at all and things are normal? or does it mean that there is inflammation there that is not bleeding or ulcered? i do not get it when they say active or not active. Is this the same as flaring or not flaring?
