Well first off, I'd like to welcome the many new members we have had join since I've been gone. I was in Denver, CO for a conference for the past week.
On Monday when we arrived at the hotel, I went to wash my hands and clean up after the flight, and turned the water on....nothing came out. So I called the front desk. They told me a water main had broken and a plumber was on the way. So I went down to the office and they gave me a couple of bottles of water. I ran over the the reception and washed etc. When I came back, they told us that the water had been repaired. I went up and washed up and brushed the teeth etc. with no problem. The next morning I get up to make coffee, turn the faucet on and again -- yep, no water. So, I called the office and there was no answer. I got dressed and went downstairs. They had enough to make coffee and some breakfast, but there was no water. They were handing out gallons of water to use...hmmm, what parts are most important to wash? Little by little our whole group ended up downstairs and we all ate breakfast with bedhead hair and laughed. We went to our conference with no shower etc., but the whole time I had a little anxiety about the ole' bowel stuff. Thank heavens I wasn't flaring, but not having water gives that sense of urgency. Anyway, we made it back from our meeting and as we all walked in, they told us that the water line had been repaired; and we all disappered quickly to our rooms for a nice hot shower!
