Deuce, hi! I saw your response about my sig in another thread. I have the "ONCE" about Apriso because I was on Asacol previously, and didn't like having to take pills three times a day. The lunch dose could be awkward, if I was out to lunch on company business. So I really enjoy popping all four in the morning with breakfast!
That said, welcome to Healing Well! Nope, you're doing great by posting a thread introducing yourself...we're not so formal as to have a separate folder for all new folks.
Anyway, that's great that you're doing better. I do want to suggest you think about using the suppostories or enemas (my personal choice, since they treat more area) even when you're in remission. Studies show that people who use a mesalamine enema in addition to oral meds stay in remission longer than those who just use oral meds. Since flares start in the rectum, and the oral meds don't always reach the rectum, it makes sense. Yeah, using enemas isn't fun, but it's not really a big deal, either. It's worth it if I have longer stretches of remission, for sure!
