From Remi to Humira? Too soon?

Hi,
I have to quit Remi and switch to Humira and it will be approx. 8 weeks from my last 10mg dose of Remi to my first loading doses of Humira. Why do I need a loading dose of Humira if I already did that for Remi? Also is that too much medication in that 8 week period? Anyone else done this.

I cant answer your question but I was wondering why you have to quit remi? from youe sig. it seems to be working for you.

     I build up antibodies very quickly to the Remicade, after the 3rd infusion but did go for a 4th infusion a week earlier than scheduled but still flared.  My last infusion of Remicade was on Feb 9th and loading dose of Humira on March 24th.  Humira isn't working either .  Going for surgery on June 28th.
