Not to bore anyone with this reminder but I am a dentist who has had UC for the last twenty years. I work in a very big and busy practice and have been praticing for more than a decade. I read your post and just wanted to say that I am not aware of any major need to know if someone is one Humira. The only thing I can think of is that whenever anyone is on some type of chemo treatment we try to minimize any type of infection so that it is dealt with early and effectively so that the infection doesn't become a threat of some kind to someone who is immunocompromised. I do ask if patients on certain types of medications such as anti-coagulangts or heavy duty osteoporosis medication since I do a lot of dental surgery but I do not ask if people on Humira or Remicade. In fact I read a lot of dental stuff and have never come across a dentist protacol. Hope this helps.
