Yesterday, my sketchy foods were a pickle, vinagrette, Grey Poupon mustard, a hamburger. I had severe gas pain that night. Any of that the culprit, you think? What are your foods that cause gas pain? What do you recommend doing about
it if you don't want to stop eating the foods. Beano? Gas-X

Severe gas pain has always been a problem for me. I prefer phayzme over the other too. I say this over and over and over but laying on your left side REALLY helps work everything out.

I like Beano when I eat the obvious - beans, broccoli, etc. BUT - after medication would be gasX. Also, trying avoiding certain foods for while - found that excess sugar and fruit are my worse offenders. For some it is dairy.

Someone was talking about
Ultra-Zyme by Nature's Plus. I am going to look for that and give it a try. Apparently you don't have to worry about
the timing of when to take it, you just take it once a day.

I never obey my own rules but eating smaller helpings, eating slower and eating more frequently does a lot. I get gas in the stomach from pickles, vinegar and greasy food. Colon(farting)gas from fiber, beans, broccoli relatives etc.
I think the second type is healthy if there is no pain. The first is always bad. Tums works on the first type but diluting with bread, rice or fluids can help. I leave off the fries because it is just too much these days with a burger and pickles.
