I thought I started bleeding again after scope showed I was in remission. But I was having my period. What a surprise after three years. Didn't think it was possible. I hope I"m not having both. Don't know how you younger ladies with UC deal with that.

Tampon. Then there's no blood coming out of the girlie parts. :) Pads drive me nuts anyway...I always seem to get a wedgie with them.

Interesting that Aunt Flo decided to pay you a visit after so long!

I don't mean to be an alarmist, but if flo came to visit after 3 years of nothing--I would be making an appt with my gyno.
It is not normal to go into menopause and have no period and then get one after that long of time.

I use pads, and yeah it's hard to tell sometimes during the heavy days where the blood is coming from.

I have to agree that bleeding 3 years after menopause suggests the need to talk to your gynecologist or primary care doctor.
