Apriso-losing my hair

I've been on Apriso for 3 months and I stopped. I never felt in remission, still having accidents and mainly my hair is falling out in a huge amount of strands. Can anyone relate to this? I beleive it has happened with all the mesmeline I have taken in the past too!

Is there a NON 5asa out there for UC, if so what is it called?

I don't have your experience but as an answer to alternative/complementary medicine:

There is the immunosuppressants (Imurel, 6mp) and immunosuppressants/biologics (Remicade, Humira).

I recently began losing my hair - I think it's from Asacol tabs, so, also Mesalamine. I've stopped taking them and am using the product Vigro for my hair. So far, I think less hair is falling out. I'm hoping I'll remain ok without the Asacol, so far so good.
