blood on the tp

when I wipe, I can tell there is blood mixed in with my stool. It is not all blood as if wiping while on your period..but its like a light burgundy color

Is there a difference between the blood being mixed in with the stool as oppose to it dripping out on its own?

In my opinion the only difference is the amount you are bleeding. For me, the blood dripping out on its own was the first to go, then the blood smears on the TP, and lastly the blood on the stool. As I was getting better I was bleeding only a tiny bit and it was just strings on the stool. Before that, a little string might wipe off on the TP when I was bleeding a bit more. Before that, I might have enough to smear and absorb into the TP or even a glob on the TP. And of course, before that murder scene in the toilet water.

I have had blood dripping from my butt in my severe flare a couple years ago..that has not happened since then..but now the first part of the stool has not blood..then the end pieces have blood mixed in and when I wipe I can really see it..
I have never really had blood mixed in..more just when I wipe and dripping out.. This was when my rectum was in a severe flare but the upper part was on mild when they did the scope.
