You could take folic acid supplements. Calcium, fiber, Selenium, fish oil, and vitamin D3. The internet is full of research showing the efficacy of each supplement but here is one link that combines them altogether.
When taking selenium try for 200mcg daily of the organic form which is selenomethionine. It is especially important to take extra folic acid besides what is in a multiple vitamin if you are taking sulfasaline because it causes a deficiency. Rainbow Light is a good multiple that has these nutrients. (This is not spam, only trying to be helpful.) Extra vitamin D3 is a must.
