Length of stool

If I have a long stool, its movement is usually accompanied by a cramp. Is this normal or another sign of a flare despite free and clear scope? I can't remember if the same thing happened before UC.

Doing enemas every third night, Canasa every other day, plus 9 asacols per docs recommendation.

I don't know Ellen, it's probably normal. I usually don't have cramping when I am in remission but once in a while I do. I don't necessarily think it is a sign of a flare but I don't think we will ever be 100% the same as we were before having UC. I usually go in the morning now, before UC, I don't remember being so predictible.

You're right. I go one to three times a day associated with meal times. It's not the same as before, but I do get that cramping with very long stools.

I am pleased with the way I'm coming along, but you never know if something is the beginning of a flare.
