Hey, I'm stopped over in TN on my way to my new apartment and grad school. Did around 12 hours of driving today, switching off with the boyfriend. Stopping in New Orleans tomorrow (trying to get there early as possible) and arriving at my new place on Monday.

Ooh! Hope it all goes well. Tennessee is nice. And I've always wanted to go to New Orleans. Don't forget to eat some crawdads.

In New Orleans now (and yes, I made sure to eat some crawdads as well as my first ever piece of pecan pie). Really nice but I'm sooooo tired from driving so much. It reminds me a lot of London, architecturally. Early start tomorrow and hopefully I can get all moved in in a decent amount of time.

First ever piece of pecan pie??? Well it was high time then!! I'm so glad you are out of your family's house; I think this is the start of a whole new life for you.
